Dr Emmah Kwoba is a Horn Sandpit fellow 2019. She has basic training in Veterinary Medicine and holds a master’s degree in Veterinary Public Health from the University of Nairobi. She has previously worked at the Kenya Medical Research Institute as a Public Health Veterinarian for One Health Research Group. She has a deeper grasp of designing and implementing disease surveillance systems. Currently, she is a Research Fellow at International Livestock Research Institute supporting Food safety Projects.
She has research interest in the Epidemiology of infectious and Zoonotic diseases, Antimicrobial resistance and Food safety.
