Mark Lutton has a BSc (Hons) degree in Zoology from the University of Edinburgh, and previous experience of working as a research assistant supporting molecular sub-typing of Cryptosporidium and Streptococcus infections in cattle.
Mark has managed a range of international projects and programmes, initially for a student-led infrastructure development charity operating across Africa and Asia. Most recently, Mark has worked for Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) as a programme manager, responsible for managing a DFID funded maternal health strengthening project in Kenya.
Mark was the former Senior Project Manager for the GCRF HORN Project, but in March 2020 he returned to LSTM as the Chief Executive Officer of the ReBUILD for Resilience project.
