Ismail Ali Awale is a training fellow in Horn project. Ismail has graduated from IGAD Sheikh Technical Veterinary School with Diploma in Livestock Product Development and Entrepreneurship (DLPDE) accredited by Makerere University, Uganda. He then completed his Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVM) from Edna Adan University, Somalia.
Ismail Ali worked as a Laboratory technician at Saudi-Emirates International Veterinary Quarantine Management Company, his role was diagnosis of Diseases such as Rift Valley Fever and Brucellosis. Ismail has strong experiences in teaching and outreach programs. He is currently working at IGAD Sheikh Technical Veterinary School and Reference Centre as a Tutorial assistant in Veterinary Medicine, and laboratory technician where he supports students on food microbiology and diagnostic techniques of livestock diseases.
