John has previously managed a Wellcome Trust funded Centre focussing on developing talented clinical trainees in to the global health researchers of the future. This includes the operation of a multi-million pound Wellcome Trust funded clinical PhD Programme, both of which have a key focus on locations in sub-Saharan Africa. This post has required John to support staff and processes across both the University of Liverpool and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM).
John is now the Senior Project Manager for the GCRF HORN Project, based in Liverpool.
