Mariah is a Social Scientist practicing in academia and research. She has notable skills and experience in participatory qualitative inquiries and analysis. She is able to actively participate in and detail the protocol development, data tools design and piloting, data collection, data transcription and review with ability to work within research and program teams iteratively to ensure project and research goals are comprehensively addressed.
Ethnographic inquiries encompassing participatory methods of data collection such as participant observation, in-depth and key informant interviews, focus group discussions and narratives continue to inform she research experiences.
For the qualitative analysis, she is well versed with the use computer software especially Atlas Ti, Nvivo and Dedoose to organize data for coding and subsequent thematic and / content analysis aligned to research questions and objectives. Furthermore, she is keen on dissemination of research findings to contribute to policy and implementation as well scientific literature and scholarship.
